DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently manage your own caseload by providing comprehensive assessment and treatment within the scope of practice for a physiotherapist according to the standards outlined by the CPTBC
Deliver high-quality care to every client that works through our door
Through your assessment and treatment create action plans to help clients do what they love
Develop and communicate action plans for each of your clients
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms
Complete charting for each client according to the standards outlined by your professional governing body
Develop interpersonal relationships with clients and team members
Adhere to clinic business processes and operation workflows
Engage with the local community and referral sources to support the development of your caseload
Participate in ongoing mentorship and clinical education sessions provided within company and external partners
Collaborate with your clinical director on an ongoing basis

Requirements:

Your Role
As a Kinesiologist at Cedar Rock Wellness, you will:Provide one-on-one kinesiology assessments and exercise therapy for clients at various stages of rehabilitation or wellness.
Design and implement personalized movement programs to help clients regain strength, mobility, and function.
Work closely with other therapists (physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists) to create integrated care plans for clients.
Track and monitor client progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continued improvement.
Educate clients on proper movement techniques, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and team mentorship sessions.
Foster a positive and supportive environment, contributing to the overall client experience and clinic culture.

We are seeking an RMT who:Holds current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) and is in good standing.
Has experience in myofascial release therapy, using targeted techniques to address deep muscle tension and fascia-related issues.
Is skilled in prenatal/antenatal massage techniques, offering care and relief for clients during pregnancy and post-pregnancy.
Has a background in sport and performance massage, understanding the unique needs of athletes and active individuals to optimize recovery, enhance performance, and prevent injuries.
Takes a client-centered approach, providing hands-on therapy tailored to each individual’s needs.
Is excited to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated treatment plans.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to building long-term relationships with clients.

Your Role
As an RMT at Cedar Rock Wellness, you will:Provide specialized, therapeutic massage treatments with a focus on myofascial release therapy, prenatal/antenatal care, and sport performance recovery.
Collaborate with other health professionals to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
Offer relief to prenatal clients, addressing issues like back pain, swelling, and stress, while providing postnatal care as well.
Apply sport-specific techniques to help athletes recover from injuries, improve performance, and maintain physical health.
Keep accurate, detailed client records and complete charting in compliance with CMTBC standards.
Foster strong client relationships through empathetic care and a personalized approach.
Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and team-building activities to enhance your practice.
Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional clinic environment.
